Job Description

Responsiblities

 

  • Plant HR/factory HR head responsibilities would include to act as liaison manager between the labour, staff and management, and developing HR strategies for talent acquisition, staffing, talent/skill development for the factory unit. 
  • Should also be able to establish statutory compliances related to factory and skilled labour and handle grievances and communicate with employees at every level. 
  • The HR head would also be responsible for ensuring business objectives (all production related KPIs) are met and all the policies and initiatives are being followed and monitor that all the HR functions are operating properly.

 

Accountabilities

 

  • Work closely with Unit/Function Heads to develop and drive the HR Strategy and value proposition to support achievement of business objectives
  • To develop competitive strategies for recruitment, employee relations, employee / organization development, performance management, HR process excellence etc.
  • Drive human resource compliance and ensure standardization and consistency of human resource practices and policies over all factories 
  • Advise the Management Team on areas for potential improvement
  • Maintain & design strategies for optimizing product line and research for adoption of best cost-effective measures
  • Continuous upgradation/evolving of the human resources, processes, and the tools/technology
  • Conduct inter-departmental meetings with cross functional teams on a predefined agenda with Factory Head, QC Head, Production Head, CAD, PPC, Designers etc.

 

Experience and Qualifications

 

  • Qualification (Must/Desirable): Any graduate/ post graduate 
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing/factory environment in preferably Jewellery Industry 
  • Proven ability of talent acquisition and talent development 
  • Proven experience and knowledge of industrial/labour relations 
  • Sound technical knowledge across areas and excellent understanding of business issues. 
  • Ability to create plans to align technical issues with business strategy.
  • Proven ability to act at both the strategic and operational levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to manage people and provide training and skill development as per the requirement 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
