Job Description
- Roles and Responsibilities:-
- To coordinate with Showroom Managers/ Showroom in-charges and achieve the showroom targets assigned by the management from time to time.
- Achieve the targeted Showroom profitability from all the showrooms under purview.
- Control and maintain Showroom Operating Cost within prescribed limits fixed by the management.
- Take guidance from AGM-Retail Operations and coordinate with other Heads of various Operating and Support Functions to maintain showroom ambience to highest standards always
- Increase sales and ticket size by regularly offering effective and innovative upselling and cross selling ideas to Showroom Managers and Sales team
- Give regular updates to AGM-Retail Operations and COO on market trends and competitors activities from time to time
- Ensures that the retail operation complies with all policies and procedures relating to Operations, Security, Health and Safety; influences any changes necessary to meet statutory requirements, ensuring minimum risk to staff members and the business.
- Regularly visit showrooms and spend quality time Showroom Managers, Sales teams and customers to understand and identify critical business issues and report the same to AGM Retail Operations with possible solutions.
- Responsible to ensure implementation of Sales initiatives like In-store events, Jewellery expos, Apartment Shows and DTH Sales by deeply involving in planning and execution of such initiatives by offering clear and specific instructions to Showroom Managers and Sales Teams and improve the same by coaching SRMs/Showroom In charges and Sales teams.
- Proactively manage and review the performance and progress of SRMs and their respective business areas, set objectives and guide them to achieve the targets
- Constantly monitor merchandise mix in showrooms against Merchandising Plan and in coordination with the Central Merchandising team take necessary timely action to ensure that the merchandise mix in every showroom is always in line with the plan in every category, style, design theme and weight band.
- Regularly monitor ageing of merchandise in all the showrooms and collaborate with the Central Merchandising team and AGM-Retail Operations to clear aged stock and maintain at optimal level.
- Responsible to coordinate with Marketing Manager and team to ensure that necessary propaganda is carried out for all customer events, expos, apartment shows, etc. and ensure the effectiveness of the program, visibility and profitability.
