Job Description

Having found exceptional product/market fit, we’re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to ‘scale-up’, and looking for a ROCKSTAR CONTENT MARKETEER to develop, implement, track and optimize our content marketing campaigns across all digital channels.

We are looking for passionate entrepreneurs, builders and straight up hustlers who can Brainstorm , conceptualize & execute viral creative growth strategies, utilize strong analytical abilities to evaluate end customer’s experience across multiple channels  and transform marketing communications into powerful , viral and engaging content.

 

We won’t pretend that it’ll be easy - joining a company and embarking on the scale-up phase is an amazing challenge, pushing well beyond the boundaries of natural growth cycles. You’ll move quicker than feels comfortable, and be brilliant at continually re-prioritizing what must get done to keep Joker & Witch growing month over month at the pace of the fastest growing Watch & Jewellery brands in the country.

 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. Creative Content Creation - Conceptualize , own & develop impactful content to be used  across the website, social media , emailers and other digital properties with respect to user experience & brand guidelines

2. Ad Copies - Write crisp & impactful ad copies for all online & offline marketing campaigns such as Outdoor, Print media, Paid media and Emailers etc.

3. Content Writing -Write product /collection descriptions & articles as per the given template across product categories, as well as create SEO friendly content on a timely basis.

 

4. Blog - Sole owner of the brand's blogs in terms of ideation & execution.

5. PR & Events:

  • Assist the marketing head in all kinds of PR campaigns (both Offline and Online), and Event marketing.
  • Draft press releases, pitches, case studies, lookbooks, white papers, and media summaries

 

  • Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts

 

  • Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner

 

  • Pitch story ideas and content to print/digital media while ensuring all communication is cohesive with the brand’s image

 

  • Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns

 

  • Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting

 

  • Organize, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews

 

  • Coordinate with external PR agencies and ensure smooth flow of work

 

  • Keeping a close eye and curbing virality of any negative escalation/news against brand name/assets across web .

6.Influencer Marketing: Create and manage a pool of brand influencers and ambassadors, especially key fashion bloggers in order to increase & improve brand advocacy and endorsements.

7. Shoot Requests - Manage sourcing requests and build brand relationships with stylists.

8. Brand Collaborations - Initiate & execute Brand affiliations , collaborations and PR activities

9. Internal Coordination -Cross-functional coordination with Digital marketing & Creative teams

 

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

1.   Bachelors/Masters in PR , communications, journalism or relevant field , BMM / BMS

2.   Graduates with 1-3 years of Content Writing, Fashion Editorial and/or Public Relations experience in Media or Fashion brands.

3.   Good to Excellent understanding of key blogging & social mediums such as Wordpress, Instagram, FB, Snapchat, Linkedin etc.

4.   Should be an articulate presenter & speaker , a strategic planner but above all, dynamic and goal-oriented.

5.   Excellent communication skills and a strong flair for writing top-notch fashion content.

6.   Strong Organization skills and Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

7.   Proven ability to develop, implement, and execute successful public relations campaigns preferably in the fashion sector

8.   Strategic & Creative mindset with meticulous attention to detail.

9.   Strong sense of fashion and aesthetics, along with a social and outgoing persona.

10.Possesses a “hands-on” approach and an ability to multitask in a fast paced start up environment

11. Good proofreading abilities in addition to being a Grammar Nazi

12. Candidates based out of Bangalore, and willing to join immediately will be given     preference
