We at Malabar Gold and Diamonds are looking for Central Merchandiser - ETHNIX  with 8-10 years of experience in merchandise department and have worked with jewellery industry.

Job Description:

Implement the merchandising strategy for Ethnix Collections (exclusive collection of handcrafted designer jewelry) in alignment with the overall merchandising and business strategy to achieve growth and profitability of the business. 

Responsibilities:

- Maintain the product catalogue and design bank for Ethnix collections. 

- Design planogram and assortment mix to cater to customer preferences. 

- Monitor Ethnix photo shoots for products so that relevant stakeholders can select the most suited product. 

- Gain inputs regarding catchment preferences, peak seasons and campaigns planned through external research. 

- Manage the rotation of aged/dead stock to maximize inventory turn. 

- Provide inputs regarding the guidelines for vendor returns of Ethnix collections to help finalize vendor contracts. 

- Guide in determining the carrying cost of stocks at discounted price to manage slow moving products. 

- Identify stock redistribution among stores through analytics dashboard for effective stock shuffling. 

- Identify dead stock to be melted/returned to vendors in order to minimize MGD losses .
