Heading Information technology for the Company, developing the company's strategy for using technological resources, ensuring technologies used efficiently, profitably and securely, evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure

Roles and Responsibilities
- Create/ refresh IT strategy for the company, work with businesses to create annual IT plans.
- To translate concepts, develop strategy, implement change, create programs responsive to external environment, and participate in cross-functional business.
- To develop and implement an ecommerce platform to be rolled out in rapid phases, where each phase builds on the success of the previous phase in an adaptable and logical manner, focused on driving revenues, profits and growth.
- Manage various ERP /Software implementations/digitization projects in all businesses as per needs arising in this agile business environment.
- Responsible for implementing an effective Omnichannel Marketing Strategy for the Group thereby ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Responsible for overall management of large, highly complex digitization projects including overall project review, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure in network, data, application or platform security.
- To develop and implement system based new initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Responsible for improving IT operational excellence and controlling costs. cycle time reduction across the regions
- Develop and deploy appropriate key performance indicators to monitor and IT improvements.
- Managing the IT spend both on hardware and software procuring and maintaining products and services sourced from key vendors. Use Group purchasing expertise/volume when appropriate.
- Assure quality products from the stable to the leadership team with focus on process automation to make the organization deliver speed and quality with proper controls.
- Update and advise the organization on the technology front about the future trends.
Select, train, develop, manage and lead employees across locations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- BE/ B.Tech/ M.E/ M.Tech in Computer Science , having a MBA would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 15+ Years Relevant Experience Preferred
- Exposure to deployment of IT systems/ software development/ERPs in multi-product companies
- Good relationships with key vendors in IT Software, Hardware, ERPs etc.
- Should be able to work with lean teams.
- Must have implemented/partnered at least 2-3 digitization projects in his past stints.
- Team player and must have ability to work with / influence senior management.
- Must have in depth understanding of business with the ability to translate strategy into actionable IT products/systems.
- Process and results focused, seeks practical solutions and has high result orientation.
