Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory management and ensure accuracy in stock levels, orders, and data entries.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor inventory transactions and maintain records of all stock movements.
- Analyze inventory trends and manage forecasting to optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales departments to align inventory with demand.
- Conduct regular physical inventories and reconciliations.
- Manage the inventory team, providing training and development as needed.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in inventory management, preferably within the luxury goods or jewellery industry.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team.
- Proficient in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
