Responsibilities :

• Receive and understand the sales orders from the sales teams, understand the customizations and urgencies of the orders placed
• Effectively do the daily, weekly and monthly production planning as per the deadlines and communicate the same in an effective manner across the production floor.
• Daily meetings with production co coordinators to ensure that the planning process is effective
• Co-ordinate with the procurement team Ensure that all raw materials are available for all the Units on the factory floor
• Co-ordinate with the Factory Superintendent for requirement of gold, any work related issues involving the karigars
• Partake in monthly stock taking and ensuring that all accounts are tallied.
• Manage the leave schedule of all the karigars within the production team
• Allocate incentives points
• Study and analyze all current production process and suggest ways to streamline them and reduce the lead time
• Co ordinate with the sales team to rectify any errors and complaints
• Co ordinate with the PD team to ensure that all process related defects or issues can be sorted out prior to new designs entering the production schedule
• Conduct quarterly reviews for all members of the Production Team
• Engage in 2nd round interviews of the hiring process for Karigars/Prod Team Members
• Submit relevant reports to the Directors as per their requirements.
• Co-ordinate with the maintenance teams to ensure that all the machines on the Factory floor are in good working condition, and are serviced in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Manager (15+ years)
• Excellent Man management skills
• Preference will be given to candidates from South India
• Good command over spoken Hindi and English
• Must be computer literate and proficient in MS EXCEL, Word and must have the ability and skill to use software’s.
• Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.
• Strong Math/Calculation skills
• Having working (not only theoretical) knowledge of all the process in various departments, related to the production process is an added advantage
• Have a good working knowledge about all the machines used in the production process and be able to suggest alternatives/upgrades where ever required.
• Readiness to travel for Exhibitions
• Ability to work / coordinate with others effectively.
