We are hiring for Diamond Assorter at Surat location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Selects diamonds according to type and size, for use in cutting tools ring mountings.

2. Studies grade, quality, color skin and physical structure of rough or finished diamonds.

3. Sorts stones according to quality type, using magnifying glass or loupe.

4. Determines size of stone, using measuring gauge or sizing plate, and sorts diamonds of same size into containers.

5. May weigh stones, using diamond weighing scale, to verify weight.

6. Should have knowledge of MM to Carat Size

7. Conversion and should have experience using sieves 

8. Assorting and shading of natural gemstones 

9. Assorting and grading of Uncut Polkis

Skill required: 

1. Attention to detail 
2. Focus on the quality of the raw material 
3. Focus on the cut of the loose diamonds 
4. Reference from the diamond industry is an advantage
