Diamond Setter: 

The diamond setter is responsible for setting diamonds and gemstones into fine jewellery pieces that are manufactured on-site. The role is responsible for tracking incoming pieces, prioritizing work and ensuring timely completion. The diamond setter will work closely with CAD Jewellery Designers and Goldsmiths.
 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Setting

• Set diamonds or gemstones utilizing a variety of setting styles (ie. Micro pave setting, illusion setting, channel setting and bezel setting)
• Set diamonds and gemstones of various shapes and sizes in jewellery mountings, according to specifications
   

Maintenance
 

• Follow brand specifications for tools, technical procedures, work assignments and standards of quality
• Maintain tools and equipment
• Ensure proper layout and accessibility of all tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area
   

Quality

• Maintain workshop protocols

Requirements

• 2 years or more of experience working as a diamond setter with experience using micro pave settings
