Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Implement effective inventory management systems and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of goods based on sales forecasts and inventory targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to analyze sales trends and adjust inventory plans accordingly.
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role, preferably in the retail or jewelry industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and forecast inventory needs.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Knowledge of the jewelry industry and its products is highly desirable.
