Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Diamond Quality Controller to join our team at Vero Stella. As a Diamond QC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our jewelry products meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. 

You will be responsible for inspecting diamonds and assessing their cut, color, clarity, and carat weight to determine their overall quality and value.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of diamonds to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Use various tools and equipment, such as loupes, microscopes, and ga, to detailed examinations of diamonds.
• Evaluate the cut, color, clarity, and carat weight of diamonds to determine their overall quality and value.
• Identify any imperfections, inclusions, or blemishes that may affect the diamond’s appearance or value.
• Verify the authenticity and origin of diamonds through proper documentation and certification.
• Collaborate with gemologists and other professionals to resolve any discrepancies or issues regarding diamond quality.
• Maintain accurate records of diamond inspections, including grading reports, certifications, and other relevant information.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical practices in diamond grading and certification.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in diamond grading and quality control.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in diamond inspections.
• Provide guidance and training to junior quality control staff members on diamond grading techniques and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Diamond QC or similar role in the jewelry industry.
• In-depth knowledge of diamond grading standards and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent visual acuity.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment for diamond inspections, such as loupes, microscopes, and gauges.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and ethical practices in diamond grading and certification.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make accurate judgments regarding diamond quality.
