Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and implement effective B2B sales strategies to penetrate international markets.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure business opportunities with luxury jewellery retailers and distributors globally.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, understanding their needs and trends.
  • Represent Poddar Diamonds at international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product offerings meet international client requirements.
  • Prepare accurate reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor analysis.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring clients’ satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to craft compelling pitches for potential clients.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in B2B sales within the luxury jewellery sector.
  • Strong understanding of the international luxury market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus).
  • Ability to travel internationally to meet clients, attend trade shows, and explore new markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
