Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the final QC team, ensuring all members are proficient in using microscopes and other necessary tools for jewelry inspection.
• Conduct detailed examinations of final products using microscopes to identify any defects or imperfections at a microscopic level.
• Develop and implement quality control standards and procedures to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the final QC process.
• Collaborate with the production and design departments to provide feedback and suggest improvements to minimize defects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Prepare and submit detailed QC reports, highlighting any issues and the measures taken to address them.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in quality control technologies and methodologies relevant to jewelry manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Gemology, Jewelry Design, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality control within the jewelry industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proficiency in using microscopes and other quality control instruments.
• Strong knowledge of jewelry materials, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying defects and imperfections.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
