Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire production process, ensuring timely and efficient execution of jewelry manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with the design team to interpret design concepts and develop production plans.
• Manage a team of skilled artisans and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
• Implement and maintain production schedules, monitoring progress and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of raw materials and components for uninterrupted production.
• Optimize production processes to maximize efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees.
• Stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and technologies to drive innovation in the production process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in jewelry manufacturing or gemology would be advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in the jewelry industry, with a strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for jewelry production.
• Knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and quality control standards for jewelry.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
