ModiGold was founded by Asha Kamal Modi, one of India’s most recognized jewellery designers. She established ModiGold in 2019 with a vision to create a boutique online store for luxurious, designer, precious jewellery, with exceptional craftsmanship that is truly affordable to the end consumer.

In a marketplace that is filled with mass produced commercial designs, ModiGold aims to revolutionize the online jewellery market place by creating designs that are extraordinarily unique, speak luxury and give great value to its customers.

Asha Kamal Modi is one of India’s most recognized jewellery designers and has designed jewellery for more than 10 Bollywood blockbusters including Devdas, Monsoon Wedding, Kamasutra, Zubeida, Ram-leela and Padmavati.

Asha has been felicitated for her talent with the President's Award for Design, the FICCI 2005 most influential woman entrepreneur award and the prestigious best designer accolade by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, among many other recognitions.
