Job Description
- CAD Design Creation: Develop high-quality and visually appealing jewelry designs using Rhino and Matrix CAD software.
- Transform hand sketches, reference images, or conceptual ideas into 3D models with meticulous attention to detail.
- 3D Modeling: Utilize advanced 3D modeling techniques to create intricate jewelry pieces, incorporating gemstones, precious metals, and intricate design elements.
- Customization: Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and preferences for custom jewelry pieces. Modify existing designs or create new ones to meet individual customer needs.
- Design Validation: Ensure that all designs are technically feasible for production by collaborating with the manufacturing team. Address any design constraints to achieve optimal manufacturing outcomes.
- Material and Gemstone Selection: Advise the design team on appropriate materials, gemstones, and metal combinations to enhance the aesthetics and value of the jewelry designs.
- Prototyping Create and oversee the production of 3D-printed prototypes to validate the design and make necessary adjustments before final production.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of 3D models to maintain design accuracy, proportions, and consistency with brand standards.
- File Management: Organize and maintain digital design files, version control, and documentation for ease of access and future reference.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the design team, artisans, and production staff to ensure smooth communication and execution of design concepts.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest CAD software updates, techniques, and industry trends to continuously improve design processes and capabilities
