As a Jewellery Merchandiser, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our business by effectively managing the merchandise planning, assortment selection, and inventory management processes. 

This position requires a deep understanding of the local jewellery market in India and an ability to identify trends, analyze customer preferences, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales and profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify current trends and customer preferences
• Collaborate with designers and production team to develop new jewellery collections
• Manage the product assortment and inventory levels based on market demand and sales performance
• Monitor competitors' activities and pricing strategies to stay competitive in the market
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
• Conduct regular store visits to gather feedback and ensure visual merchandising standards are met
• Provide training and support to sales teams on product knowledge and selling techniques

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Jewellery Merchandiser in the local India market
• Solid understanding of jewellery industry trends, pricing strategies, and customer preferences
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven track record of successfully managing inventory levels and driving sales growth
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software for data analysis
