Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect gemstones for flaws and decide on the best polishing method.
• Use a variety of hand tools and equipment to shape and polish stones.
• Ensure each stone meets the specific cut, clarity, color, and carat specifications.
• Maintain the integrity and value of the stones during the polishing process.
• Collaborate with other artisans to ensure the final product aligns with design requirements.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Keep detailed records of tasks and materials used.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Stone Polisher in the jewelry industry with atleast 15 yrs experience
• Strong knowledge of different types of gemstones and their properties.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a steady hand.
• Familiarity with polishing tools and techniques.
• Ability to work under magnification for extended periods.
• Good communication skills in Arabic; French or English is a plus.
