Job Description

We’re looking for an ERP Manager with hands-on implementation experience in the jewelry industry. You will lead end-to-end ERP rollouts, optimize workflows for jewelry manufacturing/wholesale/retail, and serve as the bridge between business users, vendors, and IT. Ideal candidates have implemented jewelry-focused ERP or modules (inventory, production, POS, repair/returns, diamond/gem tracking) and can drive adoption, data accuracy, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

1. Own full ERP lifecycle: discovery, requirements, design, configuration, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation support. 2. Lead/coordinate cross-functional teams (Sales, Purchasing, Production, Inventory, Finance, E‑commerce, Retail/POS) to map and improve processes specific to jewelry. 3. Configure and optimize modules: BOMs and routings for jewelry manufacturing, loose stone and component inventory, serialized/barcoded items, pricing matrices, repair/service workflows, POS, order management, procurement, MRP/MPS, and financials. 4. Drive data strategy: item masters (styles, variants, metals, stones), attributes, certificates, images, pricing rules, vendor catalogs, and customer data. Oversee data cleansing, migration, and validation. 5. Implement lot/serial/IMEI-like tracking for stones and finished goods, including certification tracking (GIA/IGI), hallmarking, and metal purity. 6. Set up costing methods (standard/actual), scrap/rework, metal weight conversions, yield tracking, and melt/reclaim processes. 7. Integrate ERP with e‑commerce (Shopify/Magento), marketplaces, POS, finance systems, PLM/CAD (Matrix/Rhino/3Design), label/printing, and shipping. 8. Build dashboards and reports (sales, GM by collection, WIP, capacity, on-time delivery, inventory turns, shrinkage, valuation). 9. Create SOPs and training materials; provide user training and change management to drive adoption. 10. Manage vendor relationships, SOWs, timelines, and budgets; escalate and resolve issues. 11. Govern security/roles, approvals, audit trails, and compliance (financial controls, tax, AML/KYC where applicable). 12. Establish support model and continuous improvement roadmap post go-live.

Requirements

1. 5+ years of ERP implementation/management experience, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations. 2. Direct experience in jewelry industry processes (manufacturing and/or wholesale/retail), or a closely related luxury goods sector with serialized/lot-tracked items. 3. Hands-on with at least one relevant ERP: e.g., Jewel360, LogicMate, B2B Jewel, Momentis, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/Finance & Operations with jewelry add-ons, NetSuite with jewelry vertical, SAP Business One with jewelry extensions, or similar. Strong understanding of: 1. Jewelry inventory: loose stones, melee, findings, components, finished goods, consignment, memo. 2. Production: custom and make-to-order, CAD-to-CAM handoff, casting, setting, polishing, QC, repair. 3. Retail/POS: price rules, promotions, layaway, deposits, appraisals, buybacks, special orders. 4. Costing and valuation: precious metals, stones, labor, overhead, scrap/yield. 5. Proficiency with data migration (CSV/ETL), SQL/reporting tools, and Excel. 6. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and training skills. 7. Proven project management skills (timelines, budgets, risk/issue management).
