Responsibilities

This role is responsible for all domestic and international logistics

• Pack/open shipments and verify the authenticity
• Create all documentation needed for international shipments
• Maintain and track TIB schedule (if needed) and closings
• Create and accept all transfers in SAP/other Softwares
• Monitor status of shipments for delays and communicate the same to Sales/Management team
• Arrange client deliveries and pick-ups
• Provide direction to  Business Units on when and where to ship merchandise
• Communicate with Fedex, DHL and other Shipping providers.
• Alert Product and Jewellery Merchandising Manager when violations of shipping policy occur
• Conduct monthly stock inventory for office, and coordinate store discrepancies and reconciliations with Bangalore and Chennai Offices.
• Improve procedures and efficiencies as the business grows.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Logistics experience in Jewellery Company
• Atleast Diploma/ Graduate degree 
• Experience with the office environment and corporate policies and procedures
• Excellent software skills (MS Office, SAP, other ERPs)
• Good Manufacturing and Product knowledge
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and act according to business needs
• Ability to create and maintain accurate Excel spreadsheets
• Attention to detail and organized professional
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English/Hindi/Kannada
• Ability to interact efficiently with others and work with a growing team
• Self starter – able to work independently and proactively
• Must be able to work outside of regular hours as needed during Peak Season times
