Job Description
We’re looking for an IT Executive to manage day-to-day IT operations for a fast-paced jewelry manufacturing company. You’ll support users across production, QA, sales, and back-office, maintain our ERP and shop-floor systems, ensure network uptime, safeguard data, and drive small-to-medium IT projects.
Responsibilities
User Support & Helpdesk
Provide L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, barcode/RFID scanners, label printers, and handhelds on the shop floor.
Install, configure, and update OS, drivers, and business applications.
Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and document resolutions.
ERP & Business Applications
Support ERP (e.g., SAP Business One/Tally/Custom ERP) and integrations with production/stock modules.
Create/modify user roles, access rights, and basic reports.
Coordinate with vendors for customizations, updates, and incident resolution.
Network & Infrastructure
Maintain LAN/Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls, and Internet links; monitor uptime and performance.
Manage Active Directory/O365 accounts, email, shared drives, and group policies.
Administer servers (Windows/Linux), VMs, NAS/SAN storage, and backup jobs.
Security & Compliance
Implement endpoint protection, patching, and regular security audits.
Enforce access controls and data protection aligned to company policies.
Support CCTV, biometric attendance systems, and door access systems.
Production IT & Devices
Support CAD/CAM workstations, jewelry design software, 3D printers/scanners, laser machines, and hallmarking/testing devices software interfaces.
Ensure label printing, barcode/RFID tagging, and item tracking systems work reliably.
Coordinate with maintenance for IT aspects of machinery PLC/HMI interfaces where applicable.
Data & Reporting
Assist in data extraction from ERP, basic SQL queries, and Excel-based dashboards.
Maintain asset inventory, license tracking, and IT documentation.
Projects & Vendor Management
Execute small IT projects (network upgrades, backups, migrations).
Evaluate and onboard vendors for hardware, AMC, and software support.
Negotiate SLAs and track performance.
Requirements
2–4 years in IT support/administration; manufacturing environment experience preferred.
Hands-on with:
Windows OS, basic Linux, Microsoft 365/Exchange/SharePoint/Teams.
Active Directory, group policies, DHCP/DNS.
Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, firewalls—Fortinet/Cisco/MikroTik preferred).
ERP support (SAP B1/Tally/Custom) and SQL basics.
Backup tools (Veeam/Windows Backup), endpoint security (Defender/Symantec).
Printers, scanners, and label/barcode systems.
Knowledge of CAD/CAM software used in jewelry (e.g., Rhino/MatrixGold/AutoCAD) is a plus.
Experience with CCTV, biometric attendance, and access control systems is a plus.
