Production Leadership 1. Own the entire production cycle: CAD to casting, setting, polishing, plating, QA, packing, and dispatch. 2. Build and manage the master production schedule; balance capacity across in-house and vendor units. 3. Implement Lean/TPM practices to reduce wastage, rework, and cycle time. Quality & Compliance 1. Establish and enforce strict QC standards for gold, diamond, and gemstone jewellery (BIS hallmark, diamond grading, finish). 2. Drive root cause analysis for defects; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). 3. Ensure compliance with EHS, labour laws, and ethical sourcing standards. Supply Chain & Vendor Management 1. Source and manage vendors for casting, setting, plating, findings, and packaging. 2. Negotiate SLAs, cost, and quality terms; conduct regular vendor audits. 3. Manage procurement of diamonds, gemstones, gold, alloys, findings, and consumables with tight inventory controls. Cost & Planning 1. Build and manage production budgets; track variances and drive cost savings. 2. Define and monitor KPIs: OTD, OEE, yield, wastage, rework, AQL, COGS. 3. Optimize batch sizes, routing, and line balancing to improve throughput. Team & Culture 1. Lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams: CAD, production, QC, stores, planning, and dispatch. 2. Set clear SOPs and training programs for artisans and supervisors. 3. Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Systems & Process 1. Implement/optimize ERP/MES for BOMs, routing, barcode tracking, WIP visibility, and inventory accuracy. 2. Standardize SOPs for custom orders, repairs, and after-sales service. 3. Partner with Merchandising, Design, Sales, and Retail to align demand and capacity. New Product Introduction (NPI) 1. Industrialize new designs for manufacturability without compromising aesthetics. 2. Pilot runs, tool/jig development, and time-motion studies to hit cost and delivery targets.

1. 12–18 years of experience in fine jewellery manufacturing (gold/diamond), with at least 5–7 years in a senior leadership role. 2. Strong command over jewellery processes: CAD/CAM, 3D printing, casting, micro-setting, soldering, polishing, rhodium/plating, enamel, assembly, and finishing. 3. Proven track record of scaling production, improving yields, and meeting aggressive delivery timelines. 4. Hands-on experience with vendor ecosystems in Mumbai/Surat/Jaipur preferred. 5. Deep understanding of diamond and gemstone grading, loss control, and reconciliation processes. 6. Strong ERP knowledge (e.g., SAP, NAV, Odoo) and data-driven decision making. 7. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
