Technician Trainee at Gemological Institute of America

We are looking to hire Analytics Technician Trainee, who have experienced and high potential to become a Supervisor.

Roles and Responsiblities

• Should have knowledge to operate advanced gemological instruments and accurately collect, assess and input data. 
• Ablility to maintain instruments to ensure that they are well serviced and are reliable.
• Organize visits and contact technicians to maintain equipment annually, bi-annually, or as needed. 
• keeping instrument protocols up-to-date. 
• Participate in special projects, data collection, instrument testing and document filing.
• Ability to collect data on gem(s) in accordance with GIA protocols using advanced gemological instruments.

Requirements

• Able to communicate professionally.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Geology, Earth Sciences or in any related fields. 
• Some technical background in instrumentation preferred.
• Reasoning Ability, able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Must have some basic Computer skills.
• Willing to work in Night Shifts.

Shift Timings : 5.15 pm to 2.15 am

Interview process

First round will be virtual round with HOD. 

Next is final Face - Face personal round interview.
