• Inspection of fine goods such as diamonds, gemstones, finished jewelry, etc.
• Documenting inspection results.
• Notifying appropriate personnel for discrepancies in orders
• Reviewing and addressing customer requests efficiently with our Maryland service team
• May use standard, high tech, and specialty gemological testing equipment to examine and may provide data collection for research projects when assigned.
   

Desired candidate profile:
 

• Knowledge of diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones, and jewelry manufacturing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills showing initiative and follow-through
• High standard of workmanship with experience in gold, platinum, and precious metals
• Ability to check the quality of jewelry and obtain data from advanced gemological equipment
• Provide support to the team and department supervisor
