Responsibilities
The Junior CAD Designer will assist in creating and modifying CAD designs based on briefs provided by senior designers. The role includes preparing production-friendly designs, making revisions, maintaining CAD files, and coordinating with the design and production teams to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
Requirements
The candidate should have basic to intermediate knowledge of jewellery CAD software such as Rhino or Matrix. A good understanding of jewellery design fundamentals, stone settings, proportions, and manufacturing feasibility is required. Creativity, willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to follow design briefs are essential. Internship or academic project experience in jewellery design will be an added advantage.
Interview Process
The process includes resume and portfolio screening, a basic CAD skill discussion or test, followed by an interview with the design team to assess design understanding, learning ability, and role fit.
