Job Description

We are seeking experienced Merchandisers to support both Product Development and Sales operations for the U.S. market. The role involves coordinating between design, production, and sales teams to ensure successful product development, timely order execution, and strong client relationships. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of U.S. jewellery market trends, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage international client requirements efficiently.

Responsibilities

Product Development & Merchandising Coordinate with the design and product development teams to create jewellery collections suitable for the U.S. market. Analyze market trends and customer preferences to support new product development and collection planning. Assist in product costing, feasibility checks, and sample development. Ensure products meet international quality standards and client expectations. Sales & Client Coordination Work closely with the sales team and international clients to understand product requirements and specifications. Prepare product presentations, proposals, and quotations for clients. Maintain regular communication with U.S. clients for product approvals, updates, and feedback. Build strong long-term relationships with international customers. Order Management Manage the entire order lifecycle from product development to final dispatch. Coordinate with production, sourcing, and quality control teams to ensure timely order completion. Track order status and ensure delivery timelines are met. Market Research & Analysis Monitor U.S. jewellery market trends, pricing, and competitor activities. Identify opportunities for product improvement and new product categories. Provide feedback to management for product strategy and sales planning. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate records of orders, product specifications, costing sheets, and client communication. Prepare reports on sales performance, product development progress, and client feedback.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in jewellery merchandising or export merchandising. Strong exposure to the U.S. jewellery market. Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially with international clients. Strong coordination and project management abilities. Knowledge of product development, manufacturing processes, and jewellery materials. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and documentation.
