Responsibilities:

• Create original and detailed jewellery designs by hand, considering the latest trends as well as classic styles.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible within budget and manufacturing constraints.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide custom design services.
• Select appropriate materials and gemstones for each piece.
• Prepare detailed sketches and specifications for jewellery pieces.
• Amend designs according to feedback from clients or production team.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the jewellery industry, including emerging trends and design techniques.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Manual Jewellery Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Proficiency in illustrating detailed and accurate design sketches by hand.
• Excellent understanding of jewellery fabrication, materials, and gemstones.
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively consult with clients and collaborate with the team.
• Creative thinking with the ability to produce innovative and original designs.
• Degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or related field is preferred.
