Responsibilities:

• Financial Management & Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and offer actionable insights.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop budgets that align with the company’s strategic goals. Monitor financial performance against budgets, providing regular forecasts and recommendations.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations. Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure that recommendations are implemented.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the accounting aspects of inventory management, specifically for jewelry items. This includes valuation of inventory, stock verification, and analysis of inventory turnover.
• Taxation: Manage all tax-related matters including GST, TDS, and corporate taxes. Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance with tax laws.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, specifically within the jewelry industry or related luxury goods sector.
• Skills:
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
