The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D jewellery designs for export markets. The role requires strong expertise in CAD software, understanding of international jewellery trends, and the ability to translate design concepts into production-ready models.
Responsibilities
Create 3D CAD models of jewellery designs including rings, earrings, pendants, and bracelets.
Convert manual sketches or client concepts into detailed production-ready CAD files.
Ensure designs meet export market standards and manufacturing feasibility.
Work closely with merchandisers, product development teams, and production departments.
Modify designs based on client feedback or production requirements.
Ensure accurate stone settings, metal weights, and technical details in CAD models.
Maintain proper documentation and version control for designs.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or similar tools.
Understanding of diamond and gemstone settings.
Ability to work with international jewellery design requirements.
Good attention to detail and creativity.
