The CAD Jewellery Designer will create highly detailed 3D jewellery designs for international markets. The role requires strong technical expertise, precision, and understanding of export standards and market preferences.
Responsibilities
Develop 3D CAD models of rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and other jewellery pieces.
Convert manual sketches into accurate CAD designs with correct proportions and stone settings.
Work closely with production and merchandising teams to ensure manufacturability.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, stone maps, and measurements for manufacturing.
Modify designs based on buyer feedback and export market trends.
Ensure design quality meets global standards for finishing and accuracy.
Maintain a library of design files and manage version control.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in jewellery CAD design (export).
Proficiency in Matrix, Rhino, JewelCAD, or similar software.
Strong knowledge of stone settings, metal weights, and production feasibility.
Ability to work on collection-based, bespoke, and fast-paced export projects.
Excellent attention to detail and understanding of international jewellery aesthetics.
