The Manual Jewellery Designer will create hand-drawn design concepts tailored to the local market. The role requires strong creativity, market understanding, and the ability to create both custom and collection-based designs.
Responsibilities
Create detailed hand sketches of jewellery designs (gold, diamond, and gemstone).
Develop designs aligned with trends in the Indian/local market.
Work on customized orders based on customer or sales team requirements.
Collaborate with CAD designers and production teams for design finalization.
Ensure sketches reflect correct proportions, stone placements, and manufacturing feasibility.
Maintain design sheets, mood boards, and research trends regularly.
Requirements
3–8 years of experience in manual jewellery sketching.
Strong creative sense and understanding of Indian design aesthetics.
Excellent drawing, shading, and detailing abilities.
Knowledge of jewellery materials, manufacturing processes, and technical constraints.
Ability to work on both ethnic and contemporary design lines.
