Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed appraisals of jewellery items, including gold, diamonds, and other precious stones, ensuring accuracy in assessment.
• Provide fair market value appraisals for insurance and valuation purposes.
• Verify the authenticity of gemstones and precious metals.
• Prepare and complete appraisal reports with detailed descriptions and photographs.
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and maintain knowledge of current values of precious metals and gemstones.
• Assist customers with queries regarding jewellery quality, value, and maintenance.
• Work closely with sales staff to provide expertise and support for customer purchases.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all evaluated items.

Requirements:

• Proven atleast 3 years experience as a jewellery appraiser or a similar role in the jewellery industry.
• Strong knowledge of gemology, metallurgy, and jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in appraisal software and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
