About jewellery jobs in BKC
Bandra Kurla Complex is Mumbai’s main business district and home to Bharat Diamond Bourse, among the largest diamond trading centres in the world. Thousands of diamond firms have offices there, and the district’s malls add luxury jewellery retail.
Where the jobs are
- Diamond trading houses: assorting, grading, buying and selling.
- Accounts, export documentation and back office roles at diamond firms.
- Laboratories and certification offices.
- Luxury jewellery boutiques at BKC malls.
Working in BKC
- Expect strict entry procedures and identity checks at the bourse.
- Diamond experience, or a gemology course, opens most trading roles.
- The nearest stations are Bandra and Kurla, with buses and shared autos into the complex.
BKC is also a business district with offices of banks and logistics firms that serve the diamond trade, so finance, insurance and secure transport roles connected to diamonds appear here too. Experience at the bourse is recognised across the trade. Security and trust are part of every role there.
