We are looking for a Manual Jewellery Designer to create hand-drawn jewellery designs and detailed technical sketches for production. You will work closely with the design head, CAD team, and production to turn concepts into manufacturable pieces that match brand standards and market trends.
1. Create hand-drawn conceptual sketches and final detailed drawings (top/side/front views)
2. Develop collections based on design briefs, mood boards, and trend references
3. Specify materials: metal type, stone sizes, counts, settings, and finishes
4. Prepare dimensioned drawings for CAD and manufacturing
5. Coordinate with CAD designers, artisans, and QC to ensure feasibility and finish
6. Revise designs based on feedback, cost, and weight targets
7. Maintain design archives and spec sheets
Requirements
1. 2–5 years of experience as a Manual Jewellery Designer (fine jewellery preferred)
2. Strong hand sketching and rendering skills (pencil/ink/markers); knowledge of proportions and settings (prong, bezel, pave, channel, etc.)
3. Good understanding of stones (diamonds, precious/semi-precious), cuts, sizes, and layouts
4. Ability to translate trends into commercial designs for the Indian market
5. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (casting, handmade, polishing, plating)
6. Collaboration and time-management skills; attention to detail
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Jewellery Design or equivalent (preferred)
Familiarity with CAD is a plus (not mandatory)
