Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAM Operator to join our jewellery manufacturing team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, optimizing, and operating CAM programs for the production of high-quality jewellery pieces.

Responsibilities

Create and prepare CAM files for CNC machining and jewellery manufacturing.
Convert approved CAD designs into accurate machining programs.
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling machines used for wax, resin, metal, or master model production.
Select appropriate tools, machining strategies, speeds, feeds, and toolpaths.
Inspect finished components to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Troubleshoot machining, programming, tooling, and production issues.
Coordinate closely with CAD designers, production supervisors, model makers, and quality-control teams.
Maintain proper records of programs, machine settings, tools, and production output.
Perform routine machine cleaning, basic maintenance, and tool management.
Follow all workplace health, safety, and quality procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience as a CAM Operator, CNC Programmer, or CNC Machine Operator in jewellery manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of jewellery production processes, including wax milling, master model making, casting preparation, or metal machining.
Experience using CAM software such as RhinoCAM, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, ArtCAM, Fusion 360, PowerMill, or similar software.
Familiarity with CNC milling machines, tooling, machine setup, and machining parameters.
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, 3D models, and technical specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision and quality.
Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
Good communication skills in English; Hindi, Urdu, or Arabic is an advantage.

Education

-Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Jewellery Technology, CAD/CAM, or a related field. Experience in a jewellery factory or gold, diamond, silver, or luxury product manufacturing environment. Knowledge of 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis CNC machining.
