Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Jewellery CAD Designer to join our design team in Jaipur. The ideal candidate should be strong in 3D jewellery modelling, understand manufacturing requirements, and be able to convert sketches or concepts into accurate CAD files ready for production.

Responsibilities

Create original jewellery collections (rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets) aligned with Ethera’s brand and market needs
Develop sketches, mood boards, technical drawings, and detailed CADs (Matrix/Rhino/KeyShot or similar)
Work with product development to review prototypes, set quality benchmarks, and troubleshoot design/manufacturing issues
Research trends, materials, settings, finishes, and customer insights to inform seasonal lines
Optimize designs for durability, stone setting, weight, and cost without compromising aesthetics
Guide and mentor junior designers; manage multiple design projects and timelines
Prepare specs, BOMs, and handover documents for production and vendors
Partner with marketing to deliver design narratives and launch assets

Requirements

6+ years of jewellery design experience, including premium or fine jewellery; diamond experience strongly preferred
Strong portfolio showcasing stone-forward designs and commercial hits
Proficiency in CAD (Rhino/Matrix/ZBrush or equivalent) and rendering; hand sketching skills a plus
Solid understanding of gem-setting techniques, metal types, manufacturing processes (casting, finishing, assembly), and QC
Experience working with Indian manufacturing ecosystems and vendor coordination
Excellent sense of proportion, ergonomics, and wearability
Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills
Degree/diploma in Jewellery Design or related field preferred
