• Familiarity with foreign exchange regulations (Export LC, EEFC accounts, etc.)

  Communication and coordination with export authorities and customs

Responsibilities

Daily Accounting Operations:
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including purchase, sales, expenses, and bank entries.
Handle bills of entry, customs duty accounting, and export invoicing in accordance with SEEPZ norms.
Export Documentation & Compliance:
Manage and verify export-related documents including shipping bills, ARE-1, drawback claims, and customs clearance paperwork. 

Coordinate with customs, SEEPZ authorities, and other export-related departments to ensure timely clearances and filings. 

Banking and Forex Management:

• Manage export remittances, LC documentation, bank reconciliation, and follow-up for payments.
• Handle EEFC accounts and foreign currency transactions.
  
  Costing and Inventory Accounting:
• Monitor costing of finished goods, raw materials (gold, diamonds), and wastage norms.
• Maintain proper records for bonded and non-bonded stock as per SEEPZ compliance.
  
  
  GST and Taxation:
• Ensure timely and accurate GST filings (including LUT, refunds, and reconciliations).
• Handle TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance for exports.
  
   

MIS and Reporting:

• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports, profit & loss statements, and budget vs. actual analysis.
• Report export incentives, duty drawback, and related receivables.
  
  Audit and Controls:
• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
• Implement internal control processes for financial integrity and compliance with export regulations.

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in Tally ERP (Export module) or SAP (if implemented) 
• Hands-on experience with SEEPZ online portals, DGFT, and ICEGATE systems
  Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas for reporting and reconciliation)
• Familiarity with GSTN portal, TRACES, and online refund applications 
• Knowledge of customs documentation software like Visual Impex or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience is required
