House of Quadri is looking for an experienced Jewellery CAD Designer with around 3 years of hands-on experience in creating accurate and production-ready jewellery designs.
The candidate will be responsible for converting sketches, references, and design concepts into detailed 3D CAD models. The role requires good knowledge of jewellery construction, proportions, stone setting, weight management, and manufacturing feasibility.
Responsibilities
Create detailed 3D CAD models for jewellery based on sketches, references, and design briefs.
Develop CAD designs for rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, necklaces, bangles, and other jewellery pieces.
Translate designer concepts and customer references into accurate CAD models.
Ensure designs maintain proper proportions, symmetry, dimensions, and aesthetics.
Prepare production-ready CAD files for manufacturing.
Consider metal weight, stone size, setting requirements, and manufacturing feasibility while designing.
Make revisions based on feedback from designers, customers, production teams, or management.
Coordinate with jewellery designers and production teams to ensure smooth execution of designs.
Identify technical or manufacturing issues before the design goes into production.
Maintain proper naming and organization of CAD files and design records.
Ensure designs are completed within agreed timelines.
Maintain accuracy while working on custom and repeat designs.
Support the team with modifications and new design development.
Keep updated with current jewellery design trends and CAD techniques.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in jewellery CAD designing.
Strong knowledge of jewellery construction and manufacturing.
Experience creating production-ready jewellery CAD models.
Good understanding of stone sizes, settings, proportions, and metal weight.
Ability to interpret hand sketches, images, and design references.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to make design modifications independently.
Good understanding of manufacturing feasibility.
Ability to work within deadlines and handle multiple designs.
Good communication and coordination skills.
