JewelFx is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Junior CAD Designer with experience in the export jewellery market. The role focuses on creating precise and production-ready CAD designs for international clients, working closely with senior designers and the production team to deliver high-quality jewellery designs that meet global standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
The Junior CAD Designer will be responsible for creating, modifying, and finalizing CAD designs for export jewellery collections based on client briefs and references. The role includes ensuring designs are accurate, production-friendly, and aligned with export quality standards. The candidate will work closely with senior designers, assist in developing new collections, maintain organized CAD files, handle design revisions, and support the production team to ensure timely and smooth execution of designs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must have prior experience as a Junior CAD Designer in the export jewellery segment. Strong knowledge of CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, or similar jewellery design tools is required. The candidate should understand export quality standards, basic stone setting concepts, and manufacturing feasibility. Good design sense, accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to follow design briefs are crucial. Experience coordinating with production teams and handling revisions is an added advantage.
Interview Process
The interview process includes resume and portfolio screening, followed by a technical interview to assess CAD skills, export market knowledge, and software proficiency. A practical test may be conducted, after which a final discussion covers role fit, expectations, and onboarding.
