Job Description

Clients send us CAD files in every format and every state of mess. Your job is to turn them into clean, render-ready models that our rendering team can light and shoot without surprises. You are the quality gate between raw CAD and a photorealistic image. If a prong is floating, a stone is mis-seated, or the mesh is broken, you catch it and fix it before anyone renders it.

Responsibilities

Convert and prepare client CAD files (.3dm, .jcd, .stl, .obj and others) for rendering
Clean up geometry, fix mesh errors and optimise topology for render efficiency
Verify stone settings, prong placement and overall technical accuracy against the client brief
Make modifications to existing models (sizing, stone swaps, minor design changes) as requested
Apply materials and finishes, and set up models for lighting and camera
QC every file before it moves to rendering and log the changes made
Handle multiple jobs a day on 24-48 hour turnarounds
Follow file security and version-control protocols

Requirements

1-3 years working hands-on with jewellery CAD files
Strong working knowledge of ZBrush, Rhino and Matrix, and comfort in JewelCAD
Solid understanding of jewellery construction, including settings, prongs, galleries, shanks and tolerances
Ability to diagnose and fix broken or messy geometry fast
Comfort with volume, able to move through many files a day without quality slipping.
Blender, KeyShot or similar rendering software
Experience preparing models for both rendering and manufacturing
Exposure to export or international jewellery clients
