We are looking for a Jewellery designer with 2 years of experience in designing of jewellery with hands on knowledge about jewellery.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Work with Product Development Engineers to achieve design results desired and highest quality product possible within target costs for brand.
- Responsible for administration and follow up of product design process to include preparation of technical packages and presentation boards, understanding of PDM process, email correspondence
- Communicate with the Director of Design to interpret and execute the design and brand strategy for all categories of business
- Prepare and/or finalize technical drawings of proposed product to be used for production
- Collaborate with the Product Development team on launch product
- Deliver design sketches and provide specifications
- Adapt designs based on feedback, incorporating for finalization
- Providing renderings and drawings
- Designing high-end / statement jewellery
Qualifications and Experience:
- Knowledgeable about design and production practices
- Organized, innovative, and creative
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator software
- 2+ years of experience including retail, catalogue or e-commerce buying
- Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills influence
- Experience buying for online retail a plus
Bachelor's and College Degree in Design, Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Fine Art, Business, Metalsmithing, Finance, Fine Arts.
