Jewellery Merchandiser(NIFT-Female)

We are looking for Jewellery merchandisers(NIFT) with 2+years of experience in jewellery design merchandising specifically from South designs and from diamond jewellery.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives. 
• Analyze market trends, customer reactions and sales figures to determine product needs. 
• Determine the need for and implement product promotions, price changes, clear outs, etc. 
• Interact with product development team to gather insights on cost of raw materials and price of finished jewelry.
• Follow jewelry design publications, exhibitions, etc. to understand new design trends.
• Provide visual references of concepts to designers. 
• Form hypothesis of new design modifications required for different price points.
• Give instructions to designers in terms of product type, size, dimension, shape and materials as per the conducted research.
• Present the new products to the marketing team and brainstorm ideas to maximize the reach of the product.

Requirements:

• Min 2+yrs experience in jewellery design merchandising.
• Experience must be from South designs and from diamond jewellery industry only.
• Commercial acumen and ability to ‘decode’ customers. 
• Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.  
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details. 
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail, or related field.
