We are looking for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to support the merchandising team in managing jewellery orders from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills, a good understanding of jewellery manufacturing, and experience working with design, CAD, production, and client servicing teams. The role requires ensuring smooth execution of orders while maintaining timelines, quality standards, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Order & Product Development
Assist in managing the complete product development cycle from design approval to final delivery.
Coordinate with designers and CAD teams for product development.
Prepare quotations, costing sheets, and product specifications.
Track sample development and customer approvals.
Production Coordination
Coordinate with Production, CAD, QC, Stores, and Dispatch teams.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely execution.
Follow up on pending approvals and revisions.
Resolve day-to-day coordination issues.
Client Coordination
Handle client enquiries and order updates.
Maintain communication regarding product status and delivery schedules.
Support merchandising presentations and customer meetings.
Documentation
Maintain order records, costing sheets, product specifications, and ERP updates.
Prepare daily order status reports and MIS.
Ensure all merchandising documentation is accurate and updated.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 7 years of experience in jewellery merchandising.
Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Experience working with ERP software and MS Excel.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
