We are hiring an experienced CAD Designer to create high-quality, production-ready CAD models for fine jewellery. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of jewellery manufacturing and expertise in CAD software to develop accurate 3D models that meet production and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
CAD Development
Create accurate 3D CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles, and bracelets.
Convert manual sketches and customer concepts into production-ready CAD files.
Optimize models for manufacturing and casting.
Product Development
Coordinate with designers and merchandisers.
Incorporate customer revisions into CAD files.
Ensure designs meet quality and production standards.
Technical Support
Review manufacturability of designs.
Minimize metal weight while maintaining structural integrity.
Support prototype development.
Documentation
Organize CAD libraries.
Maintain version control and backups.
Update ERP and design documentation.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 7 years of jewellery CAD experience.
Expertise in MatrixGold, Rhino, JewelCAD, or equivalent software.
Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing techniques.
Excellent visualization and problem-solving abilities.
