Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser to manage end-to-end jewellery merchandising operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of jewellery manufacturing, product development, client servicing, costing, sampling, production coordination, and export/domestic order execution. This role requires close coordination with Design, CAD, Production, Quality, Sales, and Clients to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards.
Responsibilities
Product Merchandising
Manage jewellery collections from concept to final delivery.
Coordinate with designers to develop new collections.
Understand customer requirements and prepare product briefs.
Prepare product costing and quotations.
Ensure products meet customer expectations and quality standards.
Client Management
Handle domestic and international client enquiries.
Conduct client meetings and product presentations.
Maintain strong customer relationships.
Follow up on approvals, revisions, and order confirmations.
Production Coordination
Coordinate with CAD, Production, QC, Procurement, and Dispatch teams.
Track order progress and production timelines.
Ensure on-time order execution.
Resolve production bottlenecks.
Sample Development
Monitor sample creation.
Coordinate prototype approvals.
Maintain sample records.
Reporting
Generate merchandising MIS reports.
Track order status and delivery schedules.
Update ERP with production information.
Requirements
Minimum 7 years of jewellery merchandising experience.
Experience handling export or domestic clients.
Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
ERP and MS Excel proficiency.
Education Requirements
Graduate in any discipline.
MBA or Diploma in Jewellery Management preferred.
