Inventory & Stock Management Material Oversight: Responsible for the procurement, "finding," and safekeeping of all raw materials (gold, diamonds, gemstones) and components. Workflow Tracking: Monitor the movement of materials through the factory floor in real-time using production software. Auditing: Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile system records to ensure zero discrepancy Production Planning & Costing Financial Analysis: Calculate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), factoring in metal weight, stone carats, labour charges (karigari), and wastage. Loss Control: Implement strict process controls to monitor and minimize gold loss during manufacturing. MIS & Software Operations System Management: Operate and maintain data integrity within jewellery-specific ERP software (e.g., Ornate, SAP, EMR). Data Reporting: Generate daily/monthly MIS reports regarding production efficiency, stock aging, and sales-to-stock ratios. Analysis: Use Advanced Excel for trend identification, financial reporting, and complex data analysis. Quality & Vendor Coordination QC Inspection: Perform rigorous Quality Control checks on all inwarded goods, verifying weights, purity, and craftsmanship standards.
