Laxmi Diamonds is seeking an experienced Diamond Assorter & Grader to accurately assort and grade polished diamonds based on the 4Cs and company standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in handling various diamond assortments.
Responsibilities
Diamond Assorting
Assort polished diamonds based on size, shape, colour, clarity, cut, and fluorescence.
Classify diamonds according to customer specifications.
Ensure consistency in assorting standards.
Diamond Grading
Grade diamonds accurately using industry standards.
Verify quality before dispatch.
Identify any defects or inconsistencies.
Quality Control
Ensure diamonds meet customer and company specifications.
Coordinate with planning and production teams.
Maintain grading accuracy.
Documentation
Maintain grading records.
Prepare assortment reports.
Update ERP and inventory systems.
Requirements
3–6 years of experience in diamond assorting and grading.
Excellent knowledge of the 4Cs.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work with precision.
