Job Description
Mia by Tanishq is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our retail team in Trichy. The role is ideal for a retail professional who can support store operations, guide the sales team, and create an excellent jewellery shopping experience for every customer.
Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day store operations.
Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
Deliver high-quality customer service and build lasting customer relationships.
Handle customer queries, product demonstrations, billing support, and after-sales coordination.
Support achievement of sales, conversion, average bill value, and customer acquisition targets.
Ensure visual merchandising, product display, cleanliness, and store ambience meet brand standards.
Monitor inventory, stock movement, replenishment, and product security.
Assist in staff scheduling, attendance, performance tracking, and training.
Ensure adherence to company policies, operational procedures, cash handling, and audit requirements.
Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Support local store marketing activities and customer engagement initiatives.
Requirements
2–5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably jewellery, fashion, luxury, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands.
Prior experience in a team-leading or supervisory role is preferred.
Strong communication skills in Tamil and English; Hindi is an added advantage.
Good customer handling, sales, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable with retail shifts, weekends, and festival-season working hours.
Basic knowledge of billing systems, MS Office, and inventory management is preferred.
Passion for fashion, jewellery, and creating memorable customer experiences.
