Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning and Coordination
- Develop and implement detailed production plans in collaboration with merchandisers to meet customer demands and deadlines.
- Ensure that all production activities align with company goals and quality standards.
- Create and manage production schedules, including timelines for raw material procurement and finished goods delivery.
Raw Material Management
- Oversee the procurement and inventory management of raw materials to ensure timely availability for production.
- Monitor raw material usage and stock levels, ensuring optimal inventory to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of raw materials.
Process Management and Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production facilities to maintain high operational standards.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the production team to achieve production targets and
maintain high levels of performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.
Follow-ups and Communication
- Maintain continuous communication with merchandisers, suppliers, and production team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to track the progress of production activities and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Prepare and present production reports to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and areas for improvement.
Production Planning and Control (PPC)
- Utilize advanced Production Planning and Control (PPC) techniques to optimize production schedules and resource allocation.
- Analyze production data and metrics to forecast future production needs and adjust plans accordingly.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of production activities and outcomes.
