We are seeking an experienced Purchasing manager to handle our company's procurement activities which include developing purchasing strategies, maintaining positive relationships with suppliers, coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs, and overseeing the purchasing team in their daily activities.
 

Job Description
• Key responsibilities include purchase execution; managing stock levels; supporting the operations;supply chain management; Business development (sourcing).
• Proactively supporting critical decisions with regards to purchase pricing and deliverables thus resulting in effective and on time deliveries and maximizing profit.
• Full time involvement on analyzing customer buying patterns and predicting future trends and accordingly taking necessary price change decision. • Handling sales and trading of loose diamonds.
• Coordination between factorys and management team to ensure efficient stock levels and cash flows for the division along with right pricing strategies for effective purchase with optimum bottom line.
• Assist buyer to purchase of Loose diamonds as per the clients requirement
• Responsible for the diamond inventory.
• Keeping updates of various type of diamonds quality, shape & color and reporting to the management & Marketing Team.
• Managing & supervising of order sheet, assortment team & bagging department.
• Preparing diamond price chart with quality wise for marketing so they can quote to customer accordingly
• Responsible for customer relationship for diamonds quality & locking sample for them.
• Communicating with Designer to guide them which type sizes and sieves need to take for product development.
• Assist in preparation budgets for Diamonds department.
• Communicating with sales Team for educate them of diamonds quality, grading and availability of loose diamonds.
• Preparation of report & MIS related to Diamond department.
 

Requirements:
• Degree in business administration or a related field.
• Experience as a purchasing manager or in a similar position.
• Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.
• Supervisory and management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
